Privacy policy
Last updated October 2026. This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, and how you can see or remove it. It follows Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's anti-spam law (CASL).
Who is responsible
This website is run by Satyam Tejpal, REALTOR®, Associate Broker with Smart Pro Realty, 9130 34A Ave NW, Edmonton, Alberta T6E 5P4. For any privacy question or request, email admin@tejpalrealestate.com.
What I collect
- What you type into a form: your name, email, phone number (if given), message, and any choices you make, such as the area of Edmonton, neighbourhoods, budget, bedrooms or property address.
- Nothing else on purpose. The site has no tracking cookies, no advertising pixels and no analytics that identify you.
Why I collect it
Only to reply to your enquiry and provide the real estate or property management service you asked about. I don't sell, rent or trade your information, and I don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be added. You can tell me to stop contacting you at any time.
Services that help run the site
- Cloudflare hosts the site, protects it from attacks, and runs my own form service, which emails your message straight to my inbox. Your message is not stored on this website, and no outside form company sees it. Like any web host, it briefly processes technical data such as your IP address.
- Cloudflare Turnstile runs a quick human check when you send a form, so I receive enquiries from people and not spam bots. It does not use advertising cookies.
- Google Maps shows the Edmonton area map. When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and browser details, under Google's privacy policy.
These providers may store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.
How long I keep it
Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to help you and to meet the record-keeping rules that apply to Alberta real estate professionals. After that they are deleted.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you by emailing admin@tejpalrealestate.com. I'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
